In which John announces that thanks to the awesomeness of nerdfighteria, his book The Fault in Our Stars will be published sooner than previously thought: January 10, 2012. The vlogbrothers have done a lot for their nerdfighter fanbase, but this is one of the more impressive ones. They’ve done a lot of impressive things in general, of course, but those are usually a COLLECTIVE effort that we participate in and help make happen. This feels like something JOHN is doing for US, which makes me feel appreciated as a loyal fan. I am loyal in that I pre-ordered his book before being able to read a blurb or pick it up or touch it (like I feel the need to do with most other books), and John is thanking me by signing my copy (…along with 149,999 others).
